Variable-Temperature XRD Testing for Drug Components Adapted for Bruker X-Ray Diffractometer

X-ray diffraction (XRD), as a powerful material analysis technique, is widely used in pharmaceutical research. Variable-temperature XRD testing for drug components, which involves collecting and analyzing XRD patterns of drug samples at different temperatures, can reveal physical changes and thermal stability of drugs during temperature variations. This is of great significance for drug development, quality control, and optimization of storage conditions.

 

Variable-temperature XRD testing is an important material characterization technique that observes changes in material crystal structure by altering temperature. The GoGo Instruments XRD Heating/Cooling Stage is an accessory installed on X-ray diffractometers for studying variable-temperature X-ray diffraction of samples. It can precisely control test temperatures and record XRD patterns in real-time. The GoGo Instruments XRD Heating/Cooling Stage is suitable for X-ray structural studies of powder and sheet samples under variable temperatures and is compatible with various major brands of X-ray diffractometers (Bruker, Thermo Fisher, Rigaku, etc.).

 

According to customer requirements, GoGo Instruments customized an XRD Heating/Cooling Stage adapted for Bruker X-ray diffractometers to perform variable-temperature XRD testing on drug components. This product utilizes liquid nitrogen cooling and resistance heating, providing precise temperature control from -190℃ to 600℃ , with optional atmosphere/vacuum chamber. The stage height is adjustable to accommodate samples of different thicknesses. By replacing the top cover, it can also function as an optical heating/cooling stage, enabling multiple uses with a single device.
